Remembering Ruthie Rescue (RRR) was started in memory of Ruthie (pictured at right), a rescue puppy that was being fostered, who passed away on May 26, 2012 from parvo. Parvovirus is a contagious virus mainly affecting dogs that is spread from dog to dog by direct or indirect contact with their feces. Parvo is easily prevented through an initial vaccination and boosters until the puppy is at least 14 weeks old.
RRR is located in Martin Ga and is currently a 2 person, 1 income organization. We are now a 501c3 organization so your donations are tax deductable! We may not be a large or well known rescue or even a breed specific one, but that’s fine with us (we love our “mutts”!).
If you cannot provide a monetary donation, all that we ask is that you share our Facebook posts with your friends and spread the word about our rescue. If you would like to go one step further, please fill out the foster application and consider fostering one of our wonderful doggies!
